Our story

Aperture Labs was founded in 2014 by two ecommerce veterans who felt that digital solutions should be designed to solve problems, not create new ones.

After watching countless companies overpay for wildly complex solutions that were difficult to extract value from and expensive to maintain, they set out to do just the opposite.

Armed with decades of development experience, founders Alex Moss and Girish Borkar quickly built a team of talented technologists who share the philosophy that the most valuable and creative solution is the one that solves a complex problem with as much simplicity as possible.

Alex Moss


Co-founder Alex Moss has been delivering revenue-driving, highly-adopted digital experiences to retailers, manufacturers and distributors for over 20 years. Driven by his instinctive ability to deliver solutions to even the most complex problems in a user-friendly, pragmatic way, Alex is known across the ecosystem for leading teams that maximize both the power of digital experiences and our client's investment.

Girish Borkar


For the past 20 years, co-founder Girish Borkar has guided companies across the globe through their most complex ecommerce and content delivery challenges. His deep experience at the intersection of content and commerce, along with his ability to deliver results that outpace the industry norm, make Girish an invaluable strategic partner to our clients and internal teams.

Julie brings decades of digital transformation and marketing strategy experience with both B2C and B2B brands to Aperture Labs. Leading sales and marketing, Julie crafts right-sized digital solutions that drive customer engagement while improving operational efficiency.

Sr. Program Manager

Alli heads up the Program Management practice at Aperture Labs and brings nearly 10 years of Certified Scrum Master and project management experience to our client engagements.
